imprinted duckling integration

I have an 8-day old duckling that seems to be imprinted on humans (we incubated eggs, she was a late hatcher). We live on a farm that has a flock of young ducklings (about 2 weeds old) Integration is not going well, do you have any advice? She seems so young - is it possible for her to discover that she can be a duck?

It is possible over time. She will adjust, but just be a little more needy of your attention. Give her some so she doesn't freak out too much. She will likely make a nice little friend when you go about your barnyard business! Try to let her hang out with you when you can, when doing "safe" chores. She'll probably be o.k..
