broody with cut beak

I got a broody hen out of the nest box last night to put her in the broody cage and she has a cut on her top beak.What can I do to make her more comfortable?I fed her a hard boiled egg this morning.I wonder if the rooster could have hurt her or another hen who wanted the nest box?Thanks for your help.Posy Pet

unless it gets infected leave well enough alone. Any number of things could have happened, she could have been pecking at a nail (I've seen it happen) or it could have been a fight, they happen occasionally. Unless you see any aggression don't worry about it.
