how long would you wait to put animals on a newly seeded pasture? thanks

What does the local county AG agent recommend?
What does the seel seller recommend?

Is it fresh-plowed and seeded?
With what?

Overseeded?
Onto what? And in what condition?

How's the rainfall? Or other water?

What kind of animals?
How many?
Will they be supplemented or do you expect the pasture to do it?

I had a neighbor take a look at it and he said it wasn't ready. He came over to look at mowing our waterways and ditches and then bale it for us. That's done and we my dh and I have been picking up bales with a borrowed trailer. Smells so good. Now we just need a bale elevator, as my dad calls it. Or something to make it easier to stack over three high in the barn. :) We got 1.78" rain over-night so won't be bucking hay today. Got 132 bales in the barn, maybe 50 still out to pick up. Wonder how long they take to dry?
