Mallard Duckling Help!

Hi there

This is my first time hatching a duckling. I only have one egg so I only have one shot at this. Not sure exactly when this little guy internally pipped but it externally pipped yesterday between 4 and 5pm. And not just a little bump, this duckling cracked a slightly-less-than-dime size hole, with some membrane exposed. No visible veins, no bleeding but now the membrane has turned slightly yellow. I've been using a damp q-tip to keep it soft. It's now almost 24 hours later and the duckling has made no progress. I hear it peeping and see it breathing, which is comforting. I just need to know if there's anything else I should do, or when I should help it out. Any tricks to get the little guy moving?
