I'm posting this link again just incase there are others like myself in need of these nifty solutions. A few of my girls have lost a considerable amount of feathers due to my rooster. Yesterday I saw my huge "Big Blue" mating my black orp. and actually drew blood! she shrieked in pain :( I frantically searched for an old post with the following link. I happened to have enough material for one apron and made it in less than 20 minutes (I am not a seamstress!). I plan on picking up more elastic and material this week for some of my other girls. Hope this helps :)
