Ivomec to treat dogs w/mange

Hi, I need help. My dog has mange and we have treated it many different ways. A friend of my said that Ivomec cures it. I understand that it is 1/2 cc for every 10 pounds, but I'm not sure about the dog getting the treatment weekly for 10wks. Does anybody know? I really would appreciate any help.

See your veterinarian. They know more about the condition and proper treatment than some faceless folks on an internet board.

Thank you all for your help. I did take my pet to the vet again and she gave me the correct dosage to treat the mange on my pet with the ivomec. It started working right away, and Frankie is doing much better.
