Black Sex Link pullet has awfully green sheen on

feathers. Reddish brown feathers on head, neck and down the breast, but the black feathers on the back have a green sheen, and the tail feathers are taking a curvature downward and awfully green. Are we going to have dumplings after feeding this "girl" for 3 months?

Black Sex Link males feather out in a Barred Rock pattern, so you likely have a hen. :) Those 'black' feathers can have a lot of that lovely green/violet sheen to them. Check out for their page on Sex Link birds for more info and lots of pictures, there is a pullet pictured there that sounds just like yours:
