I was trying to find the post from earlier this year that was about painting/painted barns. I have been meaning to get to painting the barn for a couple of years, and finally got it done this summer.

Before picture and my flooded gardens:

The donkeys got new fencing for the other side of their pasture.... this is Sambina

And their son Merlin:

Now I need to get a picture today, since they are very sleek looking with their summer coats, before they start quickly growing their coats back.

When you tell somebody look for the purple barn, they won't miss it! Good job. Love the gardens and especially the donkeys. They are precious.

Wow what a great color choice! The flowers and green grass are spectacular next to the purple barn. Now I'm really jealous. My barn needs a lot of work, but knowing how nice it could look, I'm tempted to get started!

Thanks ...

My house has purple accents, so I just had to make the barn match, you know! LOL.

Here's another picture with the silly old dog, Dakota, in it.

Actually, I want to paint a big quilt square on plywood, in my colors, and mount it on the end of the barn where that silly little piece is now.
