Perfectly normal - that nest box is obviously everyone's favorite!

My hens do the same, especially if there is a broody hen in the nest. It's like a little chicken conspiracy to get babies. :) It's natural for them to want to create a clutch of eggs.

If the nest is different than the others (darker, maybe?), consider creating a couple of others just like it. My hens prefer the dark, hidden type nest--I just hang a curtain of black landscaping cloth over the front of the nests, slit up the center like a curtain. They love it, they feel like they are hiding their eggs from predators. :)
