duckweed based food

I am in the process of restarting our family farm and I am interested in putting animals such as rabbits, chickens, and fish (for an aquaponics system) on our property. As part of our sustainability initiative, I was wondering if anyone has any information available on the use of duckweed as a food source for animals (the ones listed above, as well as any others). Any information you may have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I've fed my chickens duckweed as snacks, so I know that they like to eat it, but I don't know how well it matches up to their nutritional requirements. Good question, and I hope someone has some good data on this.
