whitetopped polish...low eyesight

Anyone with these types of chickens and if they trim their feathers away from eyes and if that helps them from getting lost?

Polish, silkies, houdans, spitzhaubens, crevecoeurs, sultans....any crested breed, will need trimming of their top hats. It's not essential, bit it will help them a lot, and it doesn't hurt.
I haven't heard of polish getting lost before, but it it happens and is a problem, by all means, do it.
