My rooster Henry was hurt badly when a fox chewed its way into the henhouse and massacred the Flock. All the hens and baby chicks were killed with only four of the Chicks somehow surviving.
I brought Henry into a cage in the house and he has survived the first week and is now standing up again. The problem is that he is trying to crow but only gurgling sounds come out. He also looks like he might have lost the sight in one eye.
Does anyone have any advice on feeding him and if he might get his Crow back? I am going to let him get a bit stronger before I introduce some new girls To him in a brand new coop in a new location to Minimise any additional stress.
