This may be a silly question, but I discovered a family of at least ten mice that have made a home in my potting bench. The little guys filled my empty dirt bin with cotton from weeds. I live on five acres and the bench is far from my house...should I kick them out or let them survive the winter there? Will they multiply times ten and take over my fields? Thanks for ur input!

Best to get rid of this pest, controlling the numbers is the way to go, otherwise you get too many.

I have relocated critters before. I'm like you live and let live but when you start thinking about destroying your wiring (which they love) and other damages you kinda straighted out your thoughts.

Mice are vermin and they carry hantavirus. They are totally destructive. We have an on going war with the critters, as they get into our cars, make nests, chew wires, defecate everywhere. Ugh!

Yes! Boot them out! There are plenty more of them.
