Two of our hens went broody and we gave them eggs to sit on but they left them on day 21, that was yesterday. And we now have them in our bathroom but only one is hatched while another is alive but isnt hatching or peeping. The chick has been out for about two hours but still cant stand on its own. The poor thing is trying its hardest though. We called the vet but they weren't very helpfull just the bringer of my fears. The chick in the egg only moves when i pick up the egg. We are trying our hardest to keep the egg moist and the room humid but its hard. Does anyone have tips they can give us? We are borrowing an incubator off a friend do hopefully it brings good fortune with it. But any help will be greatly appericated!
