Staph Aureus in the compost?

User

Once in a while, one of my hens gets bumblefoot. The first time, I treated it. Another time, it went away on it's own. Now, when a hen gets it, I just leave her alone, and they do fight it off themselves. What I'd like to know is since I use the manure in the garden, is there staph in my compost, then getting in the garden? How concerned should I be about food contamination, and getting it myself from the garden soil?
