I'm wondering if this is possible...would love to do it next year. Any ideas how much it might cost and how irrigation might work?? Anyone have any experience with this? How might I go about finding a plot to rent...I'm in the Toronto area of Canada.

Thanks folks!

Hello Canuck,
I don't think Partick (madmagic) would mind my passing along his contact info. He also lives in Toronto and is knowledgeable about a very many things gardening related.

Here is a link that might be useful: patrick's info

I'm in Barrie/Innisfil - still in the GTA. It's great to meet another Canadian from this area! I don't know of anywhere that you could rent an acre, but if I do hear of something in this area, I'll let you know. We're about an hours drive from TO.
