| No problem! I also bought a very sturdy Craftsman hand trowel for $0.99 after coupon. Unfortunately I looked over my receipt for those garden hoses and they rang up $13.59 instead of $9.99 as the shelf tag had said, but I guess $8.59 still wasn't a bad price for brand-new garden hoses. As many times as I had used this coupon since December 18th, I would feel guilty bringing the hoses back to get a price adjustment, as Sears has saved me ALOT in various hand saws, replacement blades, socket pieces, clamps, bungee chords, drill bits, screw drivers, adjustable wrenches, etc etc. I tried to use the coupon on Scott's lawn patch grass seed the other day, but it wouldn't scan. The cashier wasn't sure why either, but since it didn't work on that item, I passed on it. It appears to be good on garden tools though. I bought a Craftsman hoe that was on sale at $13.59 (normal price $18.99) for $8.59. Assuming Sears doesn't go out of business as a result of uncontrolled use of this coupon, if the hoe breaks it is guaranteed for life. I tend to break my tools easy, so in-all.. money well spent! I broke a how 5 minutes after getting it from Wal-Mart. Granted that hoe was cheap, but still one shouldn't expect it to crack at the handle a couple chops into a relatively soft soil garden. Hope others enjoy this coupon as well. Your order total needs to be at least $5 for the coupon to scan. If you fall short add in carpenter pencils for 59-cents each to get the total up to $5 before applying the coupon. I hope others will post their combinations of deals on garden supplies. You may have found better deals than I. :) |
