Looking to buy...

Does anyone have any planters like these to sell, or has anyone seen this size and shape for sale anywhere?
This picture is from a magazine clipping I've carried around since the 90's. I've never seen anything comparable... and I've lived in four states!

Those are really nice. This is the closest I've seen but maybe you could check on-line.

Those ARE really similar! I wonder if they come any larger than 8 inches tall? I'll try poking around some. What would you call that shape? Reminds me of Winnie the Pooh's honey pot, but bigger. LOL!

I'd call that "jar" shaped

It may be hard to remove plants from that shape pot later, if that's a concern. Martha would tell you to fire up the pottery wheel and get to work... LOL! Seriously though, those don't look mass-produced.

Have you tried searching for milk jugs? Or just jugs? They look like old-school milk jugs, just without handles. I love the Sans in them!

If only I had a pottery wheel... and any pottery talent! LOL!

Antique milk jugs run about $100 each. Bluh... I've got expensive taste!

I wanted pots of a shape i could find for sale and discovered a pottery class at an adult extension wing a community college.

Great, albert! Wanna make me some pots? See image above.
LOL! I'm kidding. I would seriously love to be able to make my own!
