Hi,
I'm able to get a bunch of this on Saturday. What would you do with it??? It's ranging in diameter of 1" to 3". They vary in height from 15'-25'.
We're going to try to get some living corms, but mostly just the stalks.
I'm thinking... vases...napkin rings...
Any ideas? |

Firts thing that comes to mind are trellises, stakes, teepees, etc in the garden for vines, etc.

Garden benches and chairs, little tables. I have some wind chimes made out of bamboo that I love. You could make a few and sell them online. Don't plant those corms in the open ground!

I use them as trellises, but they are hazardous, as wasps like to build nests in them. It's good to have wasps about, but not where your fingers might disturb them. Even if they ends are sealed, wasps will creep in through cracks in the walls.

I raise bamboo, there have been people come here and get for everything from birdhouses to furniture. Most use it for raising pole beans, just take five or six, tie it at ten feet, then raise it up and spread it apart at the bottom until you have the diamiter you want. Plant the beans at the base of each one and wala instant pole beans for the garden and they will climb right up the pole. Bamboo will last indefinitely if put up in the winter so water cannot get into them to freeze.
