once again, watch the curbs and walk the dog with a bag

Today I got some wonderful Bald Cypress leaves (needles? not sure) to put on my containers as mulch. I saw (did not pick up, though!) several metal objects put out that would have made great containers (buckets, washing machine drums, etc.)

Being rural I've no curbs to watch, but I do take a bag - and bring home pine cones for the stash-for-winter.

I could have had a goat for free yesterday. The dogs thought I should have one. 'Butt' I've been there before and the garden didn't like it, so we left it to browse in the forest.

DH and I always have our eyes on alert when we are out.

In Dec. we found the column below broken in two pieces underneath a pile of brush. We couldn't leave it lie there. : -)

We've been finding teasures since the early days of our marriage. You just never know what you will find.
