They're Back!! 10 for $1 seed packets at Walgreens

| This week's Walgreen's ad has a coupon for packets of flower and veggie seeds. With the coupon they are 10 for $1. (Limit 10...I may be shopping there a few times this week!) Without the coupon they are $.59 or 5 for $1. Please tell me nobody buys just one :) Lots of tried and true open pollinated varieties are included. I'm hoping to grow one part of my garden with only these seeds and take lots of pictures. Then I'll have documentation to show when people tell me gardening is too expensive. Yup, it can be. Just like anything in life. But there are lots of ways to make it affordable.

Hey, naturegirl, I was there Sunday night, I got my 10 packets already. I may go to a few other Walgreens to see if they have any different ones than I got. I didn't buy the bigger boxes, because I'm looking to plant certain things, and I don't want it to get too out of control.
I stopped at Menards today and got some things there too. It makes me think Spring isn't far off,and believe me, I for one, am ready for it to arrive.

| Walgreens here in Maine has the 10 for a buck deal also. I plan to go there tomorrow, on my day off to snag whatever I can get. |

Thanks for the tip, scored 10 last night.
Broccoli, cauliflower, sweet basil, spinach, zinnias, wild flower mix, cantaloupe, acorn squash, green leaf lettuce. Might try a different store for a different selection hopefully. They were on sale for 5 for $1 and the coupon was for 10 for $1 (printable from walgreens website). |

Turnip, Sweet corn, aster, green leaf lettuce, acorn squash,pea, (2) sunflower, spinach, pumpkin.

Thanks for the tip! I am off to Walgreens tomorrow to get some seeds. Last year I bought a whole bunch, and they did very well.

| Riteaid has 10 for a dollar too, but the packs are fuller. A little less variety, mostly annuals instead of perennials, for instance. Still, I found the quantity of seeds in rite aid packets to be much better. |

| Shoot! Pout pout. Even though I'm days late and 10/$1 short (!), I must have missed these sales at my SE MI Walgreens and RiteAid--though I feel like I've been watching the flyers. Oh, well, maybe this coming week!!!My mom mention Aco Hardware had the $10/$1 seeds two weeks back, but I don't have one in my normal haunts. |
