Breck's has a $25 coupon in the catalog

| Breck's catalog has a $25 coupon on the back cover. Although I find most of their prices high, you can get many things in the catalog for less than $25. And, the coupon covers shipping. So, that means you can get one or two items in the catalog for free or a few dollars. I bought the red eucomis (pineapple lily octopus) which was 17.99, added the approx 8 dollars shipping, and my total for the plant was 94 cents. There are so many wonderful plants in this catalog, it will be hard to choose just one or two, but that color eucomis I had never seen before, and it is beautiful. I can't wait for my order to arrive. Even if you buy multiple items, the coupon really brings the total way down. Coupon expires on March 21. |

| The codes and all numbers they ask you for are on the catalog. The person on the end of the phone should have told you this. If not, then Breck's needs to train their order takers better, or make them friendlier to consumers. Your catalog should have three numbers on the back (I think its the back). Each number is in a pastel shaded box. You'll have to verify your address and give the numbers they ask for. The coupon is on the back of the catalog, too. There may be a code on the coupon itself, but I think all the codes are on the back in those three boxes. Those boxes are probably individualized for each address/catalog. If you don't have a catalog, you probably don't have the coupon or the codes. However, I bet you can order the catalog free by calling them back, or by going to their webpage. Hopefully, your ordered catalog will have the coupon. If you order your catalog now, you may receive it before the coupon expires in about three weeks. Sorry you couldn't find the code and place the order right away. Breck's really should have explained how to do that and been more helpful. You can order online, too, and you can mail your order, but mailing it will cost you a stamp, which calling and webpage will not. In any case, you will need the actual catalog with the coupon and your individual codes stamped on to the catalog. At least I think so. Good luck with it. There's some great items, and some different items, in the catalog that you can get for 25 dollars or less, use the coupon, and get them for free. |

The catalog they sent me had a 25 dollars off coupon with a purchase of 50 dollars or more. Many other catalogs offer the same. When I called them, they said the offer you got goes to some customers, and others receive a regular discount (half off basically). Lucky you! :)

I have taken advantage of that discount from other catalogs too. And the following year I actually got the $25 off coupon for $25 off ANY order. I think one might have been from Brecks and the other from Garden's Alive. It was great, because my order (including shipping) was under $25. So I didn't pay anything for any off it.
The coupon codes are specific to the receiver of the catalog though, or the first person to use the code. So you can't share the code and have several people take advantage of it.
I believe both Henry Fields and Gurneys offer the $25 off a $50 order pretty regularily (each year) for early season orders. Gurney's also has electronic newsletters you can sign up for where you will get the codes to take advantage of the discount without getting the catalog (a little more eco friendly). | I am looking forward to my eucomis (purplish pineapple lily), but do feel bad that everyone didn't get the same coupon. I thought they did because a relative across the country received the same one. I do hope that those who didn't get the one I got this year, will get it next year. Maybe each year they do a free one with different customers, so, to everyone, keep your eyes open for future catalogs. I am so sorry to post and get people excited over this, then they have to do fifty dollars to get half price. Brecks is pretty high on some of their stuff, so the half price to fifty is really normal prices, probably, depending on what you get and where you compare it. Too bad all of us don't get a coupon of, like, 25 dollars off of 35 dollars. Then, we'd all just have to spend 10 dollars for a great order, and all of us would have the same opportunity. Again, I really thought this coupon was on all the catalogs, and I apologize if you checked and had the other coupon. I do hope you get the "No Strings Attached" one next year. |
