Anyone tried them before? Is it really worth $24 to have a two-year membership? Do you really get products shipped to you for free to try out? Sounds a little too good to be true. Would appreciate any feedback :D.

I think the magazine is ok, but the hype of getting free items is touchy. You need to send in a card and agree to be a tester , then they send you a product to test. I have only been sent small inconsequential items, mosquito punk sticks, seeds and i have been a member for years, although not a PAID member, I just subscribe to mag, maybe others have a better response?

Nah... It's just a ploy to get you to subscribe to the magazine. Not a bad mag, but they never sent me anything to try. I have subscribed on and off for about 10 or so years. Ya do get a cute sticker to put....well I haven't found a spot yet.

I went ahead and did the lifetime membership several years ago - i like the magazine. Haven't gotten anything MAJOR to 'test" although part of that is my fault b/c i have forgotten to send the card back most of the time.
