Spent lots of time reading the Frugal tips thread and gleaned info about the scrap lumber at Home Depot. I stopped by there today and hit the jackpot!!
I got 8 - 8 foot pressure treated 2 x 6 for $1.01 each! And 12 - 1 foot sections of 2 x 2 balluster .... FREE!
So I'll be building beds this week!
I've posted here before but it's been a long time!!!
Just wanted to say "Thanks"....and I'll be here more often probably with this economy!

| Pressure treated lumber isn't safe for any vegetable plants. It can be poisonous. I'm not sure if it is safe for regular plants.... Alice |

| The newer pressure treated wood does not have arsenic in it as the old did. They have new rules and regulations to make it safer. |
