Time to pick up your pot supply

| Around here many people are buying and planting lots of nursery stock. A quick trip around the area on trash day can land you all the pots you could wish for. Today I filled the back of my car at ONE stop. The house there was set way back from the road. I wish I could have seen the area landscaped with all the plants that were in those pots. However, I would not want to pay for even a quarter of them. Instead, I'll fill the pots with divisions from my mums, bergenia, sedum, etc. and grow them into great plants to use around the yard and to trade with others. Some of the larger pots are going to hold tomatoes and peppers on my deck. I can hardly wait to get planting this weekend! |
