starting blueberry bushes

when my husband pruned my blueberry bushes last fall.i took those branches and put them in a big bucket of dirt but over the winter rain filled the budket.so they are in muddy water basically.they have flowering buds all over them.so can i put them in potted soil and expect them to grow?i dont see any roots on them...thank u.this is my first post on here.great site.

Hi Bonnie
If they have buds, there must be roots. Given that they overwintered (if I'm reading your post correctly, I would say plant them. You have nothing to lose.
