Rain barrel diverter

Posted by vernjohnson (My Page) on

Can't say enough about my rain barrel diverter. It really works well. I got it from a little on-line shop called www.rain2o.com. It connects my downspout to my rain barrel, very nice job. Cheap !

I'm a little testy this morning because I commented on a rain barrel thing and later a moderator said I probably worked for the company becasue I had just signed-on that same day. What a criteria to use! I am retired and I don't work for anyone.

On GW forums , posters have posed as regular folk only to turn out to be hawking something for a profit . It is offensive to most people and unfair to say the least . Maybe the person who questioned your authenticity has been burned before . I'm sure they are just being cautious .
Many of us have been lucky enough to get rain barrels for free and did not use a web site .

RE: Rain barrel diverter

Well I for one Vern appreciate you telling me about www.rain2o.com, I had seen an ad somewhere else for them and had totally forgotten about them until I just read your post. I am now checking out their product line and it looks very cool. This house is a rental and has no gutters or spouts and I am thinking it might payoff if I add them myself, at least to the part where most of the water comes off the house to where I would put the barrels and these things on this site is neato...

And I SURE don't work for the company and I am NOT new to GW!!!
Sharing infomation is what GW is supposed to be about.
If we don't share things we find, bought, use or whatever then HOW are we supposed to know what does or doesn't work?

I personally don't give a HOOT if YOU MADE these products myself...they are NEAT...and look to be very useful!!! Esp. if you want to connect more then one barrel, although what they are asking for there barrels is WAY too much! I wouldn't ever pay that much for a regular old 55 gallon barrel. BUT ANYWAY..................
Thanks again for sharig Vern!

:) Fran
