Best garden supports ever

The library was throwing out wheeled heavy-duty wire shelving units.

Three of them, four feet long by four feet high, once the wheels are off. After unhooking the shelves, I have a very sturdy grid on a stable, open, rectangular base. The end panels are also four feet high by 18 inches wide - they come off and can be arranged to suit.

If I keep one for tool storage in the basement that's 14 linear of feet of the best grid material I've seen for tomatoes, cukes, melons, summer squash - they can be arranged as a line or as cages....

Cost $5, because I paid my daughter to help me wheel them home, as they wouldn't fit in the car.

AND, the wheels can go on scooters for the big pots on deck.

I repurposed a wire metal cart too. Probably not as sturdy as what you describe, but bent two of the shelves into squarish shapes, the ends are trellises in bigger pots, looks cool with Philodendron climbing on them.

All 4 pieces used this way happen to be in this pic together.
