Any recycle-friendly people try this site?

| http://www.freecycle.org has local sites around the nation.
This is how I get all my plant containers, that would otherwise end up in the dump! No more punching holes in the bottom of yogurt cups!
I've gotten rid of misc. junk on this site, too (one person's trash is another person's treasure).

Yes, I see many of you already have. (embarrassed) I'll see if I can get this post deleted. |

| No need to be embarrased =) I didn't know about freecycle until this summer! |

| Freecycle is fantastic - the more people that find out about it, the better! :) (In the UK, and the system does well here, too.) Melanie |

| Besides freecycle, I've got craigslist, pennysaver, recycler, cheapcycle and we have California Waste Management and Los Angeles County Waste Management. Of course curbside shopping is great in my neighborhood! |

| Thank you for the post. I had never heard of Freecycle before. Now I have joined our local group. |

| Thanks! I was embarrassed just because after I posted, I looked at the other threads of the afternoon, and there was already a thread about freecycle.org. Suzieh: "pennysaver, recycler, cheapcycle", are these limited to L.A.? |
