Wire frames from old campaign signs

There's got to be multiple uses for these things. You know the kind that are stuck into lawns on "giant croquet hoops".

They're about to have a cleanup in my neighborhood this weekend and dump all the signs. I want suggestions to give them for recycling.

Some short vegetables might use them to climb on.

You could make short tents to protect your plants from the cold.

You could bend it to help climbing vines - the wire's stronger than regular coat hangers.

I guess the cardboard could be used in lasagna gardening.

Any other good ideas for me to pass on?

Thanks.

Rummage sale signs, wire for plant supports. It's oK that you didn't see my post first. I'm just glad someone else is thinking of reusing things!

Happy gardening,

Given my level of competance in croquet, I would use them for croquet hoops.

driveway markers for a Club garden walk this summer--I'l either turn the paper part inside out with the club name, etc or make bright yellow poster board signs to go over the metal frame. I will then use them without the paper along one of my garden paths where the floppy plants grow, so I'm not steping on them all the time.

I use the wire to hang plants and bird feeders

They don't last around here. I saw a pickup driving along the areas where there were the heaviest population sof signs, scavenging the rebar and other posts.
