Day-after-christmas-sale shopping!!

| I got flowers on clearance at Lowe's yesterday...the paperwhites and poinsettias were a dollar each! The Paperwhites each came inside a nifty tin pail. Then I got some Amaryllis for $2..pot and soil and all! Now I just need to find some used xmas trees and my world will be complete... |

| I have my eye on some Japanese maples but they need to come down a leetle bit further. Heaps of standard roses - 'Rudolph's nose' but I'm not sure. I'll do my best to hold on until Friday. |

| Bought some after X'mas & after New Year's plants and bulbs. Got a few holiday zygocactus 9cm for $1 each at Lowes; a big variety of individually bagged bearded iris bulbs for 50% off at Orchard Supply Hardware; amaryllis bulb kit & paperwhite bulbs at Target 50% to 75% off. Also bought a bunch of nice planters and pots 50% off at Target. |
