You should tell us where you live to know what plant will work. The Bing cherry needs a pollinator, you will not get cherries with only one cherry tree. It may also not have enough chilling hours in your climate, zone 10 is too warm for many of the northern fruits.

I can not speak about the tropical fruits, but the Bing Cherry is not self pollinating so you will need a second cherry tree that will cross pollinate with it (or graft scionwood onto it of a compatable variety).

Lots of resources online that will give info on cross pollination and specific varieties that will work with Bing.

Also, I don't know where in zone 10 you are but there are some cherries bred specifically for SCal that are sold by Dave Wilson Nursery that might do well. If you are zone 10 in a humid area, cherries are not going to do well for you.

The Bing cherry is not adapted to Fullerton, not enough chilling. If you want sweet cherries look for Minnie Royal and Royal Lee on Z-Dwarf rootstock. But a low chill peach or nectarine would be more productive. Arctic Star nectarine is a far better bet in your area than Bing. It's self fertile and will out yield the cherries by many times. It's also a terrific fruit if not over watered.
