Apple variety suggestions for sauce

I sold an office property last year that had a few of my fruit trees, and lost my 20+ year old Stark Earli Blaze apple that was my favorite for making apple sauce. That variety seems no longer available from Stark's. Looking for suggestions for a great apple sauce variety that would ripen in about Sept in PA.
Who has a favorite to suggest?

Chestnut Crabpples make good apple sauce and ripen early. Tolman Sweet can be another good one but maturity will be later into late Sept. / Oct.

I've been making sauce for 40 years and the best flavoured ones have always had at least 1/2 McIntosh apples.
Have you tried them? I don't like them for eating out of hand, but love their sauce!

    Thanks for the suggestions.
No I never tried McIntosh for sauce, but if I had a Mac tree that would be a better option than eating them. They are not my favorite eating apple.
