No - Rolling River Nursery hasn't had them in stock the past three years. I'm giving Contender's a try this year.

I did. Watched and worried when the buds swelled, thinned about half the crop and low and behold I did get to eat several. My neighbor also collected some and made a cobbler after a big windstorm. They were on the smallish size but the were Peaches! Kind of tangy and sweet. I had to put a wire cage and bird netting over them to keep the Robins and Antelope from helping themselves.

Well...I asked my Buddy Bernie if he knows about the Siberian C peach, answer...

Sure I do. I got lots of seeds from BC a few years back and planted
them at Evans and at my orchard. Lots came up. They die to the
snowline every year, even in an el nino year. They are terrible to eat
peaches I have read, and only good for a rootstock. Evans may have 2 or
3 left, but they die out after a few years of dying to the snowline.

No I sure don't

What would you say the size....apricot?

Yes, it's the first crop so they might be on the small side. I could have thinned more also so hopefully this year I'll get a better idea.

Usually they don't get any larger...actually the other way around, young tree larger...as the tree gets older they get smaller.

I couldn't remember taking this but I did have a picture of the inside.

Siberian C Peach

Hello, does anyone know where I could get peach C seeds?

I am in MN zone 4 (Minneapolis) a friend started two siberian peach trees from seed. I have one in the front and one in the back. They are at least 10 years old and do not die back. They are loaded with small peaches. Not good for eating raw, but I made jam two years ago and had someone tell me it was the best jam she ever had. Now the problem. I made up the recipe, and can't find where I wrote it down, so will need to make up another recipe. I would be happy to share seeds with anyone that can meet me in Minneapolis. And I'm looking for siberian peach recipes. I'm also trying to figure out how to tell when they are ripe. Seems they stay a bit green. Just picked a bunch that are a bit soft. Just a little bigger than an apricot, so they stay small. (I didn't thin them.)

I live in northern Minnesota and I'm looking for Siberian C peach trees that grow just a little bit warmer or in my zone... Either zone 3 or zone 4. I would like to try starting some from seed here and see how it goes.

Just purchased 2 from black creek farm & nursery. Edible Acres also sells them but basically sells everything for shipping in ~1 day. Looking forward to growing these. Apparently much more disease & pest resistant than other peaches. I don't spray so that's necessary for me. Also these peaches are supposed to be very good for juicing
