| The seeds from at least 15 varieties were all put into one bag with damp peat moss. I intended to use them as rootstock and saw no use in separating them. I will be getting some seed of known parents that are large, very late, and good tasting, to grow out, but I don't know if I will get enough to send you a few. . | I have pawpaw seeds Prima1216 in exchange cuttings of fruit trees. Flowers are 100% self-pollinating, big fruit . The first harvest was 62 fruits for tree . Fruit weighing 0.7 lbs. Few seeds about 6%. Seeds are suitable for breeding new Pawpaw. Variety Prima1216 better than Peterson, pawpaw, -- they are not self-pollinating. |

| Thanks again Benny.This Pawpaw growing is an experiment,as it's my first time with them and they are not common here. I also just received some seeds from a grower in Kentucky called the Kentucky Champion.Here is a link about it.I don't know what I'd do with a Pawpaw tree that large. Brady |

| Hey Benny, I asked this over email then realized that anybody else that is getting some might want to know as well. You mentioned keeping them in the fridge and that you were planning on using them, yadda yadda yadda. Does that mean they've had their full stratification period and are ready to plant now, or do we need to keep them chilled for a while longer yet? |

| Oh, hey Wild, I see where the confusion came from now. I meant I was sending an email to Benny about the pawpaw seeds, which just happened to be right under yours asking about the scions. Sorry, my fault for not being more specific to whom I was replying. |

| Hey Benny, thought you might be interested in a followup. So far out of 20 seeds planted, I have 9 sprouts, with more coming up all the time. With how hard these things are to sprout from seed, I consider it an overwhelming success already. |

| Yup, thats about what mine look like as well. I've been looking around, found a place that will sell me zebra swallowtail butterfly eggs. Going to get some of those in a couple years, once all these trees are big enough to survive being nibbled on, and re-introducing them into the area as well. Gonna see about re-instating an entire lost native ecosystem here. =) |

| Ivan, I doubt the self pollination claim. Not a trait of the Paw Paw since the female blossom is ready before the male is ready to deliver. My guess is there ia another variety of Paw Paw near. |
