Am trying to connect with other black currant growers. I have a couple good ones but would like to try some more. Right now I grow Broadtorp and Ben Mor............both are mild flavored and fairly good fresh eating.

I have several varieties and my favorite is Black Down. It is very good for fresh eating as well as preserves.

I grow the American Great Plains Native-Crandall? and I like it a lot. I also like the traditional European one, very fragrant and strong flavored, but I know most people don't like that one for fresh eating. For me, each one is very flavorful, even though they are small.
