Identify pear disease

Hi,

Can you please help me identify it and how to preven it or treat it if it does happen a again ?

I have a pic of it below.

I forgot to add that it a seckel pear tree (or perhaps a forelle pear--I'm not sure).

I never sprayed the pear tree. I read here that pears don't need to be sprayed. Perhaps I'm wrong. Anyway hoping you can identify it and tell me how to prevent it ?
