Just got Schlabach nursery catalog. It lists a number of Italian Sweet Cherries introduced to the USA by International Plant Management. They are all Lapins crosses and self-fertile.

All the names end with Star. They list 6:; 2 early- Early Star and Grace Star; 2 mid season -Blaze Star and Black Star; and 2 late season -Lala Star and Big Star.

Any of you have grown them, please? I am interested in Black Star with average brix of 20 and advertised as "very productive with minimal cracking even in wet years"

All varieties are supposed to produce in year 2 or 3.

Love to get feed back from those who grow them before I place my order.
