Hi Guys!
Im writting from Hungary. Here we always struggling with late spring frosts. I'm looking for late blooming apricot, especially for middle asian varieties.
Im very interested in this varieties:
Hurmai, Mirsandzhali, Ahrori. Badami, Suphany, Arzami, Zard
If anybody have scionwood, please send me an email. I can send my exchange list in email.

It is illegal and dangerous to the domestic fruit industry to import scion wood from Europe. For example plum pox virus is widespread in Europe. Canada spent $180,000,000 trying to eradicate PPV and failed. It has been eradicated from USA but could be back. Importing scionwood is the likely entry point.

Yes,..forgot to mention, it's illegal, seeds OK. You're better off to check with Russian nurseries.

Given the scant information available in English on the Internet I suspect those varieties are rare in the US.

If I had them and it was legal in Hungary to receive them I would send you wood for free.

Conscientiousness gardeners here abide by the import restrictions because we are aware of the consequences - witness citrus greening.

Perhaps you could research varieties available here and see if you find something suitable, that we might be able to help you with.

Actually Konrad, seeds of stone fruit can transmit some strains of Sharka (plum pox virus).
