Apple Tree Pruning Advise

This young apple tree was planted in-ground last April and has grown from an 24" whip to about 5' as seen in the picture. Should any pruning be done this dormant season in your opinion. A couple branches need to come out but should any tips be pruned back to an outer facing bud. Most limbs are about 18" - 20" long. This is new stuff to me. Thanks for any advise or recommendations.

PS: This tree is a dwarf Candy Crisp from Stark Brothers and I want to keep it open vase. I am thinking about weighing down the branches to train them low at eye level. Hope that helps. Thanks.
