| POLAR VORTEX CAUSED BY GLOBAL COOLING... OR IS IT? http://www.climatedepot.com/2014/01/07/scientists-reject-claims-of-record-cold-being-caused-by-global-warming-time-mag-blamed-polar-vortex-on-global-cooling-in-1974-special-report/ Hmmm ... Maybe we don't know as much as we think we know. Maybe we need a new definition for "settled". (GGG) |

| Why are you bothering with this? There is nothing new here beyond a cold spell- can't we at least let a couple of seasons past before we begin this cycle again? Maybe go over your catalogues and study some pruning literature. |
| Hman, what is with you? You post a 'pickup'(nothing original)article from the NYTimes and turn it into a discussion. Let us be. |
| H'man isn't the one that keeps posting threads over and over again. It's mes111 that keeps derailing things and posting unscientific propoganda. It's off topic, its ruinining the forum, and it needs to stop. |
| Don't be so angry. It isn't good for you. I'd say "chill" but some skeptics might say "warm" and you might take it the wrong way and get angrier. |

| Thanks for posting Mike :) Some of us like the views not held by the herd. At the very least it is good to know other views exist. |

| The problem with Mike is he has started three threads going on the same topic at once. I don't mind one OT thread I can ignore but half the threads at the top are now ones he started. I plan on complaining if he starts another OT thread. Scott |
| I don't give a crap what his views are. They have no place on this forum. This is a forum about orchards and fruit. It's not a discussion forum on global climate change. Take it somewhere more appropriate if you want to crusade about it. These threads are spam |
| Scottfsmith: What's your problem? You seemed so rational in the past. I posted a link and made a statement about it. Apparently there was not much interest in the substance of the link as no one responded. It was going to drop off the screen to its apparently deserved oblivion. But then something happened.. the thread gained life and the topic got warm(ing) and all by the non-responsive complaints chiding me for making the post in the first place. Ironically, but for the urge to insult, stifle, denigrate and name call, this post would have been dead and buried. OMG the anger, the vitriol, and the threats... it's like the GW Taliban faction. Get a life... BTW... it was 2 not 3 threads and ... if you decide to complain make sure you spell my name correctly as I don't want someone else getting the heat because of me. And, throughout these GW discussions I only ever STARTED two threads.. they just happened to be now. JoppaRich... I am sure you are otherwise really a nice guy but.... ??? Mike, |

| I leave this thread with the definition of an internet troll from Wikipedia: In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people,[1] by posting inflammatory,[2] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a forum, chat room, or blog), either accidentally[3][4] or with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[5] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion. |
