Thats a grape grafting method, that grafting crew probably mainly does grapes since they are somewhere on the west coast. I don't have problems with peach grafts breaking off but my persimmon bark grafts have been too fragile and I would be interested in trying that method on them to see if it makes a more stable graft.
Not somewhere on the west coast. His orchard backed up to the Kings river which drains Kings Canyon National park. My former property was on the Kings river probably 10-20 miles up stream. He also mentioned Honey Royale nectarine, my favorite fruit. Still makes me sick that I had to leave.
