 o
June Bearing Strawberries... Early and Late

Does anyone know of varieties of June bearers that are very sweet, productive and large sized? I would like to plant two varieties... one earlier than the other in order to extend the season.

Check out theses strawberry charts

Here's one from Indiana Berry
https://indianaberry.com/info_straw_variety.php

Or find the strawberry chart in in nourse farm's online catalog.
http://issuu.com/noursefarms/docs/2014_catalog/7?e=3905375/5771388

These charts lists 20 and 31 varieties. The charts list relative ripening times, berry size, flavor ratings, freezing quality, disease resistance, and hardiness zones.

These charts are just starting points for your research. Flavor is subjective. How well they work for you is probably related to your local climate.
