I just stumbled into some company published literature on this stuff for CM control, anybody heard of or used it yet?

I use it. It is similar to spinosad but specific to CM. I don't know exactly how much it is helping since I use mating disruption and spinosad as well, but I don't get many moths and I use no other controls on them so I think it helps and is probably critical for commercial organic apple growers with CM pressure. For home growers there was no source of a small amount, so I have my lifetime supply in my basement freezer.

Thanks Scott, after some more poking around looking for smaller quantities I found Cyd-X at Peaceful Valley. Cyd-X is the same granulo virus, I think, haven't looked into it yet. I plan to find out if it too needs to be stored frozen and if PV stores and ships it frozen.

I plan to use the Trece bat-wing monitoring traps and count degree days following biofix to know when to start spraying the virus.

Do you use an adjuvant, if so, what ? Any molasses in the mix?

Happy new year ahead,

Michael
