| The juicy Kinnow is a citrus fruit variety majorly grown in Punjab Pakistan. It has a soft skin which is easy to peel and has a lovely fragrance. Kinnow was developed by H.B.
Frost at the University of California at Riverside in 1935 by cross-pollinating the King tangor and the Willow Leaf or Mediterranean Mandarin. Courtesy of the parent stock, another name of this hybrid Citrus is Wilking. |

| The word Kinnow rang a bell; I believe I tasted some back in the 1990's during a "citrus festival" held by a local grocery chain (Nature's Northwest, then owned by the current owners of New Season's Markets). The Kinnows were only offered one year. |

| A very sought after "kid glove" (as opposed to slip skin) mandarin orange. Really very nice. I had assumed it was a newer variety |

| yep, I love them, I have 2 trees. they are tops on my list along with Daisy, which are much earlier. I start picking Daisy at thanksgiving. When they are all gone I start picking Kinnow, which will last past Easter here, longer in cooler areas. |
