| I have a cameo apple tree growing in my yard, and I was wondering does it need a companion tree to produce fruit? the tree is 2 years old this year. |

| Depends how far away there are any ornamental crab apples. I have not heard of Cameo being self fruitful. Here it tends to bienniel bearing so another tree of a different variety might prove double useful. |
