| Hi all,
I'm looking for seeds of red-fleshed apples.
An willing and happy to pay for them, or swap seeds for them, whatever. (BTW I have rare Microcitrus australasica fingerlime seeds, if anyone's interested.)
Meanwhile, happy growing!

| Do you know that apples don't come true from seed very often? You might not get a red fleshed apple tree from the seed of a red fleshed apple. What you should be looking for instead is a cutting from a red fleshed apple tree, as that will grow in to a new tree that is genetically identical to the tree it was cut from. |

Hi homertherat, yes I do know that apple seeds don't grow true to their parent tree. I have no option, however. To bring live plants or cuttings into Australia costs thousands of dollars and takes many years of paperwork and quarantine. Clean seeds are permitted. |
