Planting raspberries and blackberries in proximity

Hi.

I've been growing blackberries with some success past few years (Doyle and Triple Crown). I want to add raspberries this year--the ever bearing kind. Any problem with planting row blackberries across (about 5 feet) across from row of raspberries. The way my garden is set up that's pretty much my only option.

The raspberry cane borer will go to blackberry canes if planted close by your area may not have any cane borer's. Take your chances if like.
