Where can I get scions? (Santa rosa specifically)

I figure it wouldn't be a good idea to go into someones backyard or nursery to snap off a branch to get to grafting so I'm left wondering where do people usually get their scions from? I'm planting a 7-8 foot Satsuma plum tree within the next month or so and am hoping to graft on some scions when it is established later on in the year.

Where are you located in CA. There are a ton of scion exchanges. Santa rosa plums are pretty common.

If you don't find any let me know. I have a Santa Rosa I'm going to top work this spring. I'm not real pleased with the SR, its prone to brown rot, seems to be prone to biennial bearing so I'm replacing most all limbs with other varieties
