bloom time?

Seems I always need more information. I live in the deep south my weather is terrible one day cold next hot. I tried to plant trees with the right chill hour needs for my area. This year the weather is crazy had lots of chill way early. I know there is products to help trees bloom early but what I need to know is there anything that will slow down bloom time?. Won't help this year but maybe in the future. I have about a 100 fruit trees and through the years this site and the people have helped moor than any book you could buy thanks.

No unfortunately there is no practical way, chemical, or treatment to slow bloom. The unusually cold winter has increased chill here as well. We are looking at a week or more around 80F right around the corner and right now it's 22F. Which isn't bad since we were 24F last May.

This time of year in West Texas I'm always hoping it will stay cold to delay bloom because I know with 100% certainly that it can't stay warm.

I hope you don't get a late freeze. That's your best hope.
